Into the Fold: James Roper

UK based artist and Tank Theory contributor James Roper just saw the opening of Into the Fold, his newest body of works at the Forster Gallery in London. Sadly, we were not able to make it out to see the show in person, but James was kind enough to forward pix of his work installed in the gallery. I mean, his paintings are unrivaled to begin with, but this new body just takes it to a whole new level! On top of that, James created a modular origami installation for the gallery called 'Construct' suspended 10 feet above a flight of stairs that took 3 years to create! Impressive... even through the pictures.
